Mariposa Amarilla is a canvas dedicated to the emblematic butterfly which I had the pleasure to see many times in Cartagena de Indias, in Colombia, especially in Tierra Bomba Island. This butterfly is also a renowned symbol in Gabriel Garcia Marquez book, One hundred years of solitude.

Mesmerising memory from my Colombian trip.

It represents a special moment I lived when I was in Costa Rica in the middle of nature. It was just me, and a Colibrì, which came to visit me few times when I was in front of the two beautiful waterfalls Las Gemelas.

I tried to keep the velocity of the Colibrì when flying in front of me, as well as the strength of the waterfalls, which together were kind of intertwining in a unique movement.
